Municipal water quality has been in the forefront of news coverage for much of 2016. In particular, school districts across the United States are being questioned about how they test, monitor, and maintain their potable water systems to ensure clean, lead-free drinking water for their students and staff.

The New York City School Construction Authority and the New York City Department of Education have partnered in a program to address these concerns. At the 2016 K12 Facilities Forum, SCA President and CEO Lorraine Grillo, and DOE Division of School Facilities CEO John T. Shea will discuss the challenges and New York City's response to this timely issue.
